Commis Chef

A superb opportunity has arisen to work in our highly regarded Keswick Tearooms. Welcoming guests through our doors for over 70 years, we are renowned throughout Cumbria and are a long established destination for visitors year on year.

We are looking for a commis chef who will assist the head chef in preparing high quality meals from local fresh ingredients, with a focus on breakfasts, lunch and seasonal specials.

About You:

Previous experience in preparing fresh food to a high standard in a busy environment.
Reliable, organised and used to working independently.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare breakfast and lunch items to order.
Deliver quality daily and weekly specials.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and presentation.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.

The role comprises 5 daytime shifts per week, start 8.15 am finish 5.30pm, including weekends.
