Vehicle/Trailer Technician

We are currently looking to expand our fleet workshop and are searching for an enthusiastic candidate with qualifications/knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailers.

The successful candidate will be partly responsible for maintaining a fleet of 500+ trailers and carrying out minor running repairs to our large fleet of trucks.

The ideal candidate must be able to work as part of a team or alone and have a positive "can do" attitude.

Job responsibilities will include;
Inspecting/repairing vehicle & trailers to DSVA standards
Inspecting/repairing tail lifts & lifting decks (experience preferred, but not essential)
Carry out general repairs, including welding, curtain, body and mechanical repairs
Carry out EBS diagnostics and repairs

FLT & scissor lift training will be supplied.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Regular overtime available
Weekend availability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
