Overview

Our client's highly regarded Commercial & Technology team continues to go from strength to strength and is now looking to appoint a solicitor with 4-5 years' PQE and strong commercial experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with one of the most recognised and respected partners in Wales.

You'll be a key part of a close-knit, collaborative team, with access to first-class support, resources and cutting-edge technology. The team has a particular strength in the tech sector, advising a diverse portfolio of clients across industries such as med tech and life sciences, software and IT, telecoms, digital media, as well as universities and spin-outs.

As part of the team's continued growth, they are now seeking a commercially minded solicitor to take on an increasing volume of high-quality work and help drive the next phase of this dynamic practice.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Joint ventures, strategic alliances and collaboration agreements
• Outsourcing and high-value contracts
• Software licensing and distribution
• Digital media and entertainment arrangements
• Franchise, agency, and distribution agreements
• E-commerce and SaaS agreements
• Standard terms of supply and purchase
• Buying and selling businesses
• Agency agreements
• Business development and networking initiatives

What we're looking for

• A qualified solicitor with 4-5 years' PQE
• Proven experience in commercial and technology law
• Strong drafting skills and technical knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Highly organised with strong file management
• A team player with a commitment to client service and a drive to exceed expectations
