Job Description

The Commercial Solicitor will be:

  • Advising corporate clients on consumer protection, marketing compliance, and e-commerce issues.
  • Handling regulatory and enforcement matters, including advising on global consumer protection laws.
  • Drafting and negotiating consumer-facing terms and contracts.
  • Assisting in the development of legal strategies and providing proactive advice on evolving legal landscapes.
  • Managing relationships with key clients and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Working closely with the Partners in the team on high value matters

The Successful Applicant

The Commercial Solicitor should be:

  • A solicitor with 2+ years PQE, ideally with a background in commercial / consumer law.
  • Experienced in advising on marketing compliance, e-commerce, and consumer protection regulations.
  • A proactive and driven individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to manage a varied caseload and work independently while being part of a team.
  • An interest in developing further expertise within the consumer law sector.
  • Ties to Yorkshire
