Solicitor - Commercial Property Luton

Opportunity Summary

Hunter Savage is partnering with a well established law firm seeking a Solicitor - Commercial Property to join its growing property team. This opportunity is suited to a Solicitor - Commercial Property with approximately 7-10 years' PQE looking to work on a broad mix of commercial real estate matters while developing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

The successful Solicitor - Commercial Property will work closely with experienced colleagues across the firm, advising a diverse client base on high-quality commercial property transactions. The role offers strong exposure to development work, investment transactions, and lending matters alongside opportunities to contribute to business development and mentoring within the team.

Practice Focus

The Solicitor - Commercial Property will advise on a wide range of matters including:

  • Commercial property sales and acquisitions
  • Commercial leases and lease extensions
  • Lease assignments, surrenders, and alterations
  • Property finance and securitisation matters
  • Easements and related property documentation
  • Land Registry submissions and due diligence searches

Additional exposure to development work such as option agreements, conditional contracts, Section 106 agreements, land acquisitions, and development projects would be advantageous.

Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a Solicitor - Commercial Property with:

  • Ideally 7-10 years' PQE in commercial property
  • Strong experience across sales, purchases, leases, and property finance matters
  • Experience advising on commercial real estate transactions from instruction to completion
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Strong organisational and file management capabilities
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to work autonomously where required

Experience in land acquisitions for development and development funding would be beneficial but is not essential.
