Overview

Job Title: Commercial Property Lawyer. Ref: Merton . Pay rate: £40.16 per hour PAYE. Role length: Anticipated 3 months. Working arrangements: Office attendance 2 days a week for the first 2 months.

The role: We are seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Property lawyer to handle land transactions relating to education and academies, including foundation schools and associated development matters. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience in large-scale housing stock transfers and estate ballots. Local authority experience is essential for this role especially candidates who have completed long-term contracts (a minimum duration of 18 months with the same local authority).

Key Responsibilities

• Handling complex land transactions in the education sector
• Managing matters involving foundation schools and related developments
• Advising on large-scale housing stock transfers and estate ballots

What the client is looking for

• Qualified legal executive, solicitor or barrister
• Proven experience in commercial property law, particularly with education-related land transactions
• Extensive knowledge of large-scale housing stock transfers and estate ballots
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
