THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity for a property lawyer to join its growing team.

With 2-6pqe and commercial property and / or secured lending experience, you will manage your own caseload across commercial property and secured lending, to deliver an outstanding service to a diverse and loyal client base that includes institutional lenders, property investors, and developers.

Key responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial property acquisitions, disposals, and lease transactions
• Advising both lenders and borrowers on secured lending matters including bridging finance, buy-to-let, and development finance
• Conducting due diligence on investment property and portfolio transactions
• Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, legal charges, and other security documentation
• Handling landlord and tenant work including lease renewals, licences, and lease restructuring
• Managing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's other offices

ABOUT YOU

• Experience acting for both lenders and borrowers in secured lending transactions
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management skills
• Familiarity with Leap case management software highly desirable
• Residential property experience beneficial but not essential
