At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager within the Smoke Ventilation industryto work for our client based in Dublin. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager make an impact in an innovative and growing organisation.

• Responsibility for Contract Team who work with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and minimize commercial risk
• Managing the tendering team and overall process for new projects, including reviewing tender submissions, negotiating prices, and securing new business opportunities with the team.
• Overall liaising with the procurement team processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
• Working closely with the Finance Manager to Monitor and report on commercial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks associated with projects, including contractual, financial, and operational risks.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

• Proven experience in commercial management within the construction or engineering industry, preferably in smoke ventilation or a related field.
• Strong understanding of contracts, including RIAL,JCT,NEC and other standard forms of contract.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret commercial data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication with both internal and external stakeholder management skills. You should be able to manage conflict and disagreements effectively.
• Strong in overall Department reporting
• Degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or business is beneficial but not essential.
