Commercial EstimatorLocation: South OxfordshireSalary: £50,000 - £60,000Job Type: PermanentHours: Standard Day ShiftStart Date: ASAP (Interviews taking place immediately)Shorterm Group are recruiting for a Commercial Estimator to join an established and growing engineering company based in South Oxfordshire.Responsibilities:- Produce optimum methods and cost estimates from engineering drawings or digitally provided data- Project manage new business opportunities, generating project plans and required documentation- Prepare clear and concise quotations and submit them to customers- Negotiate raw material costs, manage purchasing requirements, liaise with suppliers, and source new suppliers for subcontract/outwork processesKey Skills & Experience:- Background in Mechanical Engineering- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings- Good level of IT literacy- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Understanding of Lean manufacturing techniques (advantageous)This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and expanding business offering competitive salary and long-term career prospects.If you are interested, please apply with your most up-to-date CV and I will be in touch to discuss the role further.
