Commercial Engineer

SHAPE is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commercial Engineer to join our growing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply engineered solutions and generate commercial quotations.
• Understand customer needs, business objectives, and deliver viable/profitable solutions.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with projects, both technical and commercial.
• Work collaboratively with management and production.
• Develop the CRM system to enable strong customer relationships.
• Use CAD software to analyze customer data.
• Oversee projects from release to delivery.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Engineering background with good knowledge of composite processes and CNC machining.
• Ability to interrogate CAD and understand downstream manufacturing processes.
• Good initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• A full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).

LOCATION
