As part of our Senior Leadership Team, you'll contribute to the strategic development of the organisation, and mobilise, execute, and oversee major contracts. This will include mitigating risks, ensuring value for money, and aligning with strategic goals.

You'll lead our Repairs and Maintenance and Building Safety and Compliance functions and embed a culture of continuous improvement, talent development, and customer focus across all commercial operations.

What you'll be doing

• Providing strategic leadership of major contracts/supply chain relationships including repairs and maintenance, heating, and compliance and building safety.
• Monitoring and overseeing contract performance, KPIs, and service delivery requirements.
• Identifying and mitigating risks related to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Driving performance and nurturing talent across teams.
• Ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting using a data and insight-led approach to predict demand and cost, identifying opportunities to reduce cost and protect expenditure.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure services are effective.
• Providing customer focussed services and maintaining accountability to customers for service standards.
• Maintaining oversight of assurance processes related to contract risks and delivery.
• Leading negotiations and overseeing the drafting of major contracts.

What we're looking for

• Experience in a senior contracts / commercial role, ideally with a relevant qualification.
• Experience managing large scale contracts and supplier relationships, including interpreting complex contractual documents and mitigating risk.
• Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communications and leadership skills.
