Overview

Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician My client is seeking an experienced Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician to join their expanding Maintenance Team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality mechanical building services maintenance across a varied portfolio of commercial, healthcare, and hospital environments throughout Dublin and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician with strong expertise in commercial boilers, HVAC systems, gas services, and plumbing maintenance, who takes pride in delivering reliable and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across commercial, healthcare, and hospital sites.
  • Diagnose, fault-find, and repair commercial boilers, HVAC systems, gas-fired systems, and associated mechanical plant.
  • Maintain compliance with EHSQ standards, site safety procedures, and industry regulations at all times.
  • Respond to breakdowns and service requests in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Work closely with the service desk to ensure efficient scheduling and resolution of technical issues.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, representing the company professionally on site.
  • Participate in a rotational out-of-hours call-out service.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and best practice within the maintenance team.
  • Deliver all works efficiently, safely, and within agreed timeframes.
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification and/or third-level qualification (essential).
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a commercial heating, boiler maintenance, or HVAC service role.
  • Strong experience with commercial boilers and building services mechanical systems.
  • Experience with gas-fired AHUs highly desirable.
  • OFTEC certification advantageous (not essential).
  • Valid Safe Pass (essential).
  • Full clean driving licence (essential).
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and client-facing capability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
