Job Description

As an Assistant Audit Manager in our London Audit team, you will be responsible for a sizeable portfolio of key clients from the business support services sector and the consumer sector. Client sizes vary from owner managed businesses and LLPs to well known listed high street brands.

Role Overview

As an Assistant Audit Manager, within our Commercial service line, you will:

  • Become a trusted business advisor to our clients, focusing on quality and reputation
  • Project manage client work and oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
  • Lead onsite audit teams, preparing and reviewing financial statements and management updates
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with your team and our clients, providing support to junior members
  • Constantly strive to push yourself and the business further, knowing you're supported through every stage
Qualifications

Minimum criteria:

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA)
  • Confidence leading audits of varying sizes

Desirable skills (not essential):

  • Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
  • An interest in our clients, with the ability to discuss business challenges and needs
  • Extensive experience using audit software and Microsoft packages
  • Project management experience
  • Interest in maintaining and developing technical knowledge
