Job Description
Responsibilities 
- Managing communications strategy to re-engage customers in arrears.
- Utilising multiple communication channels (email, SMS, push notifications, dialler).
- Utilising internal data, external data and models to segment customers into groups and design treatment strategies.
- Proactively identifying signs of financial difficulty and engaging customers prior to arrears to reduce missed payments.
- Identifying opportunities to use additional third-party data sources to aid collections strategies.
- Coordinating with third parties that supply communication channels.
- 7+ years' experience in commercial, portfolio, or collections management within consumer credit, preferably credit cards.
- Strong knowledge of FCA consumer credit regulation, including responsible lending, collections, and debt sale practices.
- Strong strategic thinker.
- Proven expertise in pricing, credit line management, collections strategy, and debt portfolio sales.
- Advanced analytical skills, including financial modelling and credit risk assessment is beneficial.
- Strong SQL skills - able to self-serve with their own data.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in fintech or fast-growing financial services preferred.
