Collections Advisor

Collections Advisor Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus Location: Central Birmingham, Full Time Office Based

Lovey is a leading UK online finance broker and lender, dedicated to helping SMEs access fast, flexible funding.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of B2B customer accounts in arrears
• Proactively contact customers via phone, email, and written communication
• Negotiate payment plans and drive successful debt recovery outcomes
• Work towards and exceed monthly collection targets
• Assess customer situations and apply effective collection strategies
• Accurately record all customer interactions and agreementsEscalate complex or high-risk cases where appropriate
• Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Contribute to a high-performance, target-driven team culture

About You

• Experience within the fintech or wider financial services sector, particularly in a lending, brokerage, or SME finance environment in a similar role
• Target-driven mindset with a strong desire to achieve results
• Confident communicator, comfortable handling challenging conversations
• Resilient, motivated, and able to perform under pressure
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve
