You will play avital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based CBT interventions tosupport individuals in achieving meaningful and sustained recovery. Youll workwithin a multidisciplinary team committed to improving mental health outcomesfor young people.
This is a fullyon-site position due to the nature of the assessments and interventionsinvolved. Youll have the opportunity to contribute to a highly specialistservice and engage directly with service users and their families in a dynamicand collaborative environment.
Main duties of the jobWhat you can add:
- Provide evidence-based CBT interventions to a defined caseload of young people, supporting their psychological wellbeing and recovery
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine clinical needs and develop care plans collaboratively with young people and their families
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings (MDT), sharing clinical insights and collaborating with colleagues, offering consultation and guidance to other professionals on psychological interventions and best practices when appropriate
- Participate in the team duty rote approximately twice a month (with flexibility to increase according to service needs)

Job responsibilitiesWhat you'll need:
- High Intensity IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) Post-Graduate Diploma (Masters).
- BABCP Registration
- Specialist mental health and psychological knowledge and skills in relation to moderate to severe anxiety disorders, depression, single and complex trauma.
- Experience delivering CBT and other interventions such as IPT-A, Art Therapy, or trauma-informed approaches
- Understanding of trauma-based interventions and their application in a CAMHS context
- Confidence participating in MDT meetings and contributing to clinical discussions
- CAMHS experience is essential
- EPJS knowledge is desirable
- Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
