Join our friendly, busy riding centre in Birmingham!

We are a BHS Approved grassroots riding centre set within a beautiful Birmingham City Council Country Park, offering a unique mix of city accessibility and countryside riding. Conveniently located just 5 minutes from the M5 (Junction 3), our centre sits in a 450-acre park with extensive bridle paths and designated hacking fields -no roadwork required.

About Us

We cater to a wide and inclusive range of riders, from complete beginners through to BHS Stage 2, alongside a varied trekking programme including lead rein rides, beginner treks and canter hacks. We are especially popular with children and have 30+ horses and ponies.Our excellent facilities include a60m x 30m indoor arena, 50m x 20m outdoor arena and extensive off-road hacking within the park.

The Roles

As part of our planned expansion, we are recruiting full-time or part-time staff for the following positions:

  • BHS Stage 3 Complete Coach (BHSAI)
  • BHS Stage 2 Complete Coach
  • Trainee Groom keen to follow the BHS Career Pathway

You'll be joining a supportive, well-established team of coaches, groom and dedicated volunteers.

What We're Looking For

All applicants should:

  • Be a capable rider and strong team player
  • Maintain high standards of horse care and yard management
  • Be confident with daily routines including mucking out, grooming, tacking up, handling, turning out and catching
  • Keep the yard clean, tidy and safe
  • Communicate effectively and report any issues to the manager/proprietor
