Location: Buntingford, Hertfordshire
Rate Guide: £16.00 per hour (depending on experience), plus overtime rate - Good hours available
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Shift Patterns:

• Starting on the early shift: 7:30am - 4.00pm
• Late Shift 1.00pm - 10.00pm, with a shift premium paid after 4.00pm.

Flexibility required: A late shift will be introduced soon, so we need candidates to be able to work on both the early and late shifts on a rotating shift pattern.

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Punch Press Setter / Operator (Amada). This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term prospects for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate Amada punch press machinery
• Tooling changes, first-off checks and maintaining tolerances
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Measuring/inspecting components using basic measuring equipment
• Basic machine care, housekeeping and completing job paperwork
• Working safely at all times and following site H&S procedures

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Punch Press Setter/Operator
• Experience working on Amada beneficial
• Confident reading drawings and working to deadlines/targets
• Reliable, quality focused and flexible with working hours
