Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining, is seeking a CNC PROGRAMMER II to join their dedicated team. As a CNC PROGRAMMER II, you will be an integral part of the Machine Shop supporting production and quality assurance efforts. $20.00-$32.00 ph (DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE)

1ST AND 2ND SHIFT AVAILABLE

What's the Job?

• Use inspection tools to troubleshoot machining issues and ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify tooling and machines for all programming steps of precision machined components.
• Independently write programs for milling and turning machines using MasterCAM.
• Utilize simulation to verify programs and macros before production.
• Draw and modify prints and 3 D models using CAD/CAM software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist with manual machining experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNC programmer.
• Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming tools such as Mastercam and SolidCAM.
• Proficiency in programming languages like G code, M code, and conversational programming.
