Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining, is seeking a CNC PROGRAMMER II to join their dedicated team. As a CNC PROGRAMMER II, you will be an integral part of the Machine Shop supporting production and quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will enable you to thrive within this innovative environment.

$20.00-$32.00 ph (DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE)

1ST AND 2ND SHIFT AVAILABLE

What's the Job?
  • Use inspection tools to troubleshoot machining issues and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identify tooling and machines for all programming steps of precision machined components.
  • Independently write programs for milling and turning machines using MasterCAM.
  • Utilize simulation to verify programs and macros before production.
  • Draw and modify prints and 3 D models using CAD/CAM software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist with manual machining experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNC programmer.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and CNC programming tools such as Mastercam and SolidCAM.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like G code, M code, and conversational programming.
