Salary

£34,500 - £37,000 DOE

The Role

Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our growing team. This is a hands on role ideal for someone with a passion for precision engineering and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set CNC milling machines to produce components to exact specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and rotary units for efficient machining processes.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure machine reliability.
• Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to assemble and inspect parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support warehouse operations including materials handling and inventory.

What We're Looking For

• Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in milling and tooling.
• Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in basic maths for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Experience working with Heidenhain CNC controls is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CAD software and logic controllers is a plus.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
