CNC Miller

Job Overview

Tooling Alpha Ltd, a sister company to Rubberatkins are seeking to recruit a CNC Miller to support in the manufacturing and machining of steel tools within tolerance using precision measuring equipment.

We are open to recruiting an individual who has experience in programming, setting up and operating CNC Millers with a HURCO control.

As CNC Miller you will report to the Head of Operations with the responsibility of setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines with precise control over speeds, feeds, and depth of cut.

Experience of using precision measuring tools, adherence to COSHH regulations and upholding safety practices is a requirement. Successful candidate should have the ability in reporting and documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

• CNC Milling experience
• Experienced programming with control and Multi Axis machining is desired
• Capable of reading engineering drawings
• Ability to work on own initiative, and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritise
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to work shift pattern (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm)
