Job Title: CNC Maintenance Electrician
Location: Washington, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £39,301 plus 25% shift allowance
What you'll be doing:
- Site maintenance and installation activities
- Minor/major repairs
- Breakdown response and diagnostics to resolve manufacturing equipment issues
- Support to contractors during technical works
- Attendance at site operational meetings as required
- Execution of work orders from the site CMMS
- Update of work order details to maintain the asset database for the site on all works performed
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulation Qualification
- Time served Electrician (HNC/HND desirable)
- Working in a high paced manufacturing environment, typically on and around CNC machines
- Safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH, working at height, MEWP licence, confined space)
- Experience on CNC machines in an industrial background
Desirable:
- HV/LV Switching
- Testing and Inspection C&G 2391
- Industrial Robots (Fanuc/ABB)
- PLC Experience

Maintenance Team:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will carry out a varied range of electrical activities that protect the Washington site and ensure capability for manufacturing teams to perform their duties. This will include planned maintenance, reactive breakdown response/repairs and work requests.
