CNC Laser Programmer

We are currently looking for an experienced CNC Laser Programmer to join our well established client in Maidenhead. Ideal candidates will have experience in CAD/CAM Programming. The successful candidates will be required to produce drawings and generate programs for Trumpf lasers and LVD press brakes. Duties:

• Produce CAD drawings of flat components accurately using customer drawings
• Produce material nests of flat components for maximum material usage
• Produce bending programs to suit customer needs
• Cross checking drawings and nests with colleagues for drawing accuracy
• Ensure production schedules are maintained and updated

Requirements:

• Interpret and understand engineering drawings and have excellent attention to detail
• Proficient and the ability to demonstrate drawings with CAD software
• Understanding of forming sheet metal
• Experience of working to tight tolerances
• Manufacturing/Sheet Metal/Fabrication background
• Excellent communication skills, must be proactive and have a genuine interest in Engineering
• CNC Programming experience from another field
• Solid works experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Knowledge of Trumpf Topps laser or Cadman bending (advantageous but not essential)

Salary:

• Up to 42k

Hours:

• 40 hours per week on day shift with some flexibility (8am - 5pm)
