CNC Grinding Technician

Grinding Technician / CNC Grinder / Grinding Operative / CNC Grinder

Required for a manufacturer in Bradford. Reporting to the Production Manager, working in a busy Grinding Department, the Grinding Technician/CNC Grinder/Grinding Operative/CNC Grinder will operate Manual Surface Grinding Machines, Semi-auto Grinding Machines and Manual Cylindrical Grinding Machines.

The Role

• The CNC Grinder will apply the full range of CNC knowledge and skills to operate Manual Surface Grinding Machines, Semi-auto Grinding Machines, Manual Cylindrical Grinding Machines
• Complete CNC processes by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications
• Produce components to manufacturing specifications
• Check the size and accuracy of components produced during and at the end of manufacturing process
• Monday to Thursday: 07:45 to 16:30 / Friday 07:45 to 12:45
• Factory based in Bradford

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar CNC Grinding role as a CNC Grinder, Grinding Technician, Grinding Operative or similar
• Experience in a similar high precision environment using operate Manual Surface Grinding Machines, Semi-auto Grinding Machines or Manual Cylindrical Grinding Machines
• Experience in a busy shop floor environment
• Experience of working in a similar role with a proven understanding of precision machining and measurement
• Commutable to Bradford
