Are you a Machining Engineer with CNC and/or Manual machining experience who is aspiring to move into a Lecturer and Trainer position, where you will be heavily invested in through AET, IQA and CPD qualifications, while having full autonomy over your course delivery and clear long term career progression to become a recognised specialist shaping future machinists?

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to transition into engineering training, where you will receive full teacher training, develop into a recognised training specialist, and play a key role in developing the next generation of manufacturing and machining engineers.

This organisation is a recognised expert in engineering training, with circa 50 employees and nearly 50 years of success. They are widely regarded as the go to training provider in the South West.

This role would suit a CNC or Manual Machining Engineer looking to step away from hands on shopfloor work and into a rewarding training and lecturing position within the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, developing and training aspiring Machining Engineers at Level 3 and Level 4 (Apprenticeship and above).
• Delivering training in CNC machining, manual machining, and related manufacturing principles.
• Working closely with Tutor and Lecturing teams to support learner progression.
• Full teacher training provided to become fully qualified.

Qualifications

• Background in CNC machining and/or Manual machining (milling, turning, grinding or similar).
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or precision machining environments.
• Looking to move into a teaching, training or lecturing role.
