CMM Service Engineer

A specialist engineering business within the precision metrology and CMM service sector is seeking an experienced CMM Service Engineer for a highly technical, hands on role.

This is not a standard field service position. The role suits engineers who enjoy deep fault finding, component level repair, and understanding how machines truly work.

• Component level electronics repair experience
• Strong IT skills, with some exposure to programming or scripting
• High mechanical aptitude and confidence stripping and rebuilding machinery
• CAD experience to design, adapt, or reverse engineer parts
• Practical CMM service and metrology experience
• A self motivated engineer who enjoys learning and tinkering outside of work

If your experience is limited to routine servicing or board swapping, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.
