CMM Inspector

A leading high-precision manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced CMM Inspector to join its Inspection team in Glasgow. This role is responsible for the inspection and verification of precision machined components to ensure full compliance with customer specifications.

• Conduct first-off, interim and batch inspections using CMM and manual measurement equipment
• Generate clear and accurate inspection reports
• Analyse CMM data and highlight non-conformances
• Perform visual inspections to customer standards
• Review and optimise CMM programs while maintaining accuracy
• Support shop floor inspections and sign off approved jobs

• Proven experience inspecting precision machined components
• Strong knowledge of CMM systems (PCDMIS essential; Calypso desirable)
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
• Experience with control plans and quality documentation
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

• 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday (moving to 3-shift rotation once trained)
• Shift allowance once fully trained
