Cloud Engineer

Overview

Looking for a varied role where you get to grips with all things cloud? Do you take pride in helping clients to use the cloud to it's full potential?

This is more than a traditional Cloud Engineer role. Our SME client are well thought of for delivering innovative solutions to public sector organisations, and are now expanding their cloud team to do this more effectively. The role will cross many areas to help clients pull the most from their cloud usage and support critical projects that will really make a difference.

The role is on-site, either with customers or in their office in the Gloucestershire region. You will need a valid DV for this one.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve client security using AWS tools like Security Hub Events and Wing Guard.
• Support security tooling within the environment.
• Look to assure systems developed for the Cloud.
• Support customers by troubleshooting issues arising in their Cloud environments.
• Help clients upskill their teams on the Cloud.
• In depth knowledge of AWS, ideally holding some qualifications.
• Experience in scripting in Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of using Git/GitLab for CI/CD.
• Some knowledge of Concourse CI.
