What will you do?
You will work on the ongoing development of cloud infrastructure and supporting technologies. You will help the other teams get the best out of their microservices, which are built using Java, Spring Framework and Docker, among other things. You will be given a lot of responsibility and freedom to organise this together with your team. With your expertise, you make a structural contribution to complex solutions, from architecture and analysis to implementation.

At HeadFirst Group, we use AWS to run, scale and monitor our various microservices. The roadmap includes improving the architecture, scalability and performance of the system. In short:
- Setting up and managing AWS Cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Implementing monitoring, logging and observability tools.
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines and automating builds.
- Implementing security best practices within the cloud and applications.
- Supporting teams in deploying and running applications.
- Resolving and preventing production incidents.

Completed technical HBO or WO education.

Minimum 3 years' experience as a DevOps / Cloud Engineer and Java Developer.

Experience with AWS, CloudFormation/CDK, Linux, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of Java and JVM environments.

You must be resident in the netherlands and licensed to work here and able to work Hybrid at our office in hoofddorp.

Nice to haves: experience with RabbitMQ/AWS SQS, ElasticSearch/AWS OpenSearch, SQL/AWS RDS, AWS Route53, AWS ECS Fargate, AWS S3 and AWS CloudWatch.
