Cloud Architect required to join a global engineering company in Aberdeen. This is a unique chance to shape and influence the organisation's cloud strategy as they continue to modernise and digitise their operations on a global scale.

The Role:
As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's cloud strategy and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and maintaining robust cloud architectures, primarily leveraging Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
* Documenting and promoting cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across the organisation.
* Translating complex business and technical requirements into scalable and secure cloud solutions.
* Collaborating with cross functional teams to integrate data and AI architectures into cloud platforms.
* Contributing to the evolution of the company's IT modernisation and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Solid experience architecting cloud environments, with a strong grounding in core Azure services and patterns.
* Capable of producing clear, well structured documentation and visual representations of systems and infrastructure.
* Familiarity with TOGAF principles and the ability to apply them in practical, delivery focused ways
* Working knowledge of DevOps and automation tooling, particularly around CI CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
* Exposure to cross platform environments is advantageous, especially any work involving AWS, GCP, or hybrid cloud setups.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Their offices are based just outside of Aberdeen, with good transport links and onsite parking. They do support hybrid working and you'll be expected onsite roughly four days per week, so they do require someone local.
