Clinical Supervisor (Dental)

Role Overview

The School of Health and Life Sciences has the largest student body in the University, with a diverse breadth of courses across our Departments of Science, Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions, teaching and delivering services at both our Middlesbrough and Darlington Campuses. We are seeking to appoint a number of clinical supervisors for our student dental facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dental hygiene students whilst they develop their clinical competence in the student dental treatment clinic.
• Ensure the students' learning in the clinical setting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered as a Dental Hygienist and/or Therapist with the General Dental Council.
• Have substantial experience working as a Dental Hygienist and/or Dental Therapist with contemporary dental hygiene and/or dental therapy practice.
• Have experience supporting students in practice.
