Overview

Matrix Providers is hiring Clinical Psychologists to join our team of talented medical professionals to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams. These exams are an important service for Veterans, and we are looking for professionals who are compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent care.

Requirements

• Licensed psychologist or psychiatrist in at least one U.S. state.
• PhD/PsyD in Psychology (Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology focus on adult population).
• APA-accredited doctorate or post-doctorate program.
• Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, EMR systems, and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Preferred:
• Prior experience in clinical settings.
• Prior VA or C&P exam experience.

Job Summary

• Conduct one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pension exams for Veterans.
• Review mental health history and document responses electronically via a web-based platform.
• Exams are submitted to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
• Common assessments include PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
