We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist/Psychological Therapist to join the ADHD Psychology team within Devon Adult Autism and ADHD (DAANA). The role involves providing psychological interventions to adults with ADHD, focusing on managing symptoms and their impact on daily life. Opportunities for CPD, service development, and project work are available. Our goal is to improve the lives of adults with ADHD through innovative support methods such as workshops, resources, and online self-help programs.
Experience in ADHD is not mandatory; we welcome applicants with diverse relevant backgrounds and will support your learning. The team includes clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, senior mental health practitioners, and non-medical prescribers.
The majority of clinical work is conducted online, with an expectation of one day per week in the office.

Main duties of the jobThe primary purpose is to enhance the psychological health and wellbeing of individuals with ADHD and their support networks by helping them recognize and manage their strengths and challenges related to neurodivergence.
The post holder will:
- Provide psychological services within DAANA in Devon, integrating with mental health and wellbeing services.
- Deliver interventions through 1-1 and group sessions, perform assessments, and offer advice and consultancy under supervision.
- Work with support from senior colleagues and utilize team expertise to develop clinical skills.
- Work independently within professional guidelines and trust protocols.
- Receive regular supervision in line with trust policies and professional standards.
- Operate within a person-centered, inclusive, and dignity-respecting framework.

The role involves ensuring high-quality psychological care for adults with ADHD, providing clinical leadership, managing caseloads, and working within professional and governance guidelines.
Person Specification Qualifications- Post-graduate doctoral training in clinical psychology, accredited by BPS, including models of psychopathology, psychometrics, neuropsychology, multiple therapies, and lifespan development. HCPC registration required.
- OR DCounsPsy with HCPC registration.
- OR RMN, Dip SW, Dip OT, or BSc OT, with accreditation by an appropriate psychotherapy organization (e.g., BABCP, UKCP, ACAT, AFT).
- OR Qualification in High Intensity or equivalent CBT (Post Graduate Diploma) with accreditation.
- Experience in psychological assessment and treatment across various care settings.
- Experience in training, supervision, and working with neurodivergent individuals.
- Experience delivering interventions online and in groups.
This role requires a DBS check due to the nature of the work, in accordance with legal requirements.
