Job Description

Upsilon Global are seeking a Clinical Project Manager on behalf of a Dutch Academic Research Institute, specialising in regenerative medicine and gene therapy.


Working on both pre-clinical and clinical aspects of project management, this is a fantastic opportunity to expand experience across translational/early-phase trials in the ever-changing regenerative medicine and gene therapy field.


The position is fully home-based, however as occasional travel to Utrech/Maastricht may be required, someone based in Netherlands (and fluent in Dutch) is preferred.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a LCRA/CTM looking to take a further step into project management, or a CPM looking to gain further exposure to pre-clinical/translational/early-phase trials.

Salary: Up to €85,000 per year

Additional benefits: 38 hour per week (full time) + generous holiday allowance following academic calendar



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of clinical trial execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage regulatory submissions and ethics committee documentation in line with local requirements.
  • Monitor site activation, patient recruitment, and ongoing study progress, proactively addressing challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with sponsors, investigators, vendors, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth study operations.
  • Identify study risks and implement effective mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to clinical research teams, supporting training and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, local regulations, and gene therapy-specific guidelines.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical research experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of study/trial management processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch
