Modality PartnershipBirmingham Division has a part-time/full-time vacancy for a Clinical Pharmacist.The postholder will be a high performing Pharmacist and will be responsible forproviding pharmaceutical care to patients in a clinical setting, ensuring safeand effective medication use working at Smethwick Medical Centre/Black CountryFamily Practice. Salary for this role is £24 - £27 per hour depending on experience.

Main duties of the jobThe role is an all-rounded,hands-on Clinical Pharmacist role; the postholder will need to confidently evidenceand utilise key skills such as effective communication, ability to work as partof a multi-disciplinary team in a patient facing role to clinically assess andtreat patients using their expert knowledge of medicines for specific diseaseareas. The postholder will work in collaboration with local divisions (includingDivisional Boards) and the National Modality Business Support Team to deliver innovativeways of working to meet the strategic aims of the organisation.
The role is nota regular 9am-5pm job and is not a pure pharmacist patient facing role; the jobrequires innovation, flexibility, and commitment and the postholder will berequired to work resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks arecompleted.

Person Specification Qualifications- Qualified pharmacist PgCert Pharmacist Independent Prescribing Qualification or equivalent.

- Solid Understanding of and Respect for Prescription Drug Laws and Regulations.
