Overview

Role details

A 12-month fixed-term, 1.0 WTE (37 hours) vacancy has arisen for a Band 8A Clinical or Counselling Psychologist within the Auchinlea Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), which provides high-quality mental health care and treatment to individuals in North East Glasgow.

The postholder will play a key role in delivering high-intensity, specialist psychological therapies as part of the multi-disciplinary team. The role also includes providing clinical supervision for a range of staff delivering psychological interventions, including doctoral trainees.

Qualifications

Applicants must be HCPC-registered as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist and have experience working in adult secondary care mental health services. Competence in delivering evidence-based psychological therapies is essential. You will also have completed formal training in supervision and have experience of supervising others in clinical practice.

The postholder will join the large and dynamic North East Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire Psychology department and benefit from a strong professional network, regular supervision, and access to CPD opportunities.
