Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (Reference: 98330)

Job Summary

Avista is looking for a candidate who is committed to supporting people with intellectual disabilities and their families in a person centred, community based, socially inclusive manner, underpinned by quality, best practice and research.

Salary

Salary subject to relevant public sector experience and pro rated for hours of work.

Qualifications

• Registration with NMBI or QQI Level 8 (desirable). Level 7 degree with relevant experience considered.
• Recognition of eligibility for CORU registration.
• Recognised management qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent or commitment to undertake training.
• In depth knowledge and experience of New Directions regulation.
• Experience working within the area of intellectual disability.
• Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
• Proficiency in English.
• Intellectual Disability Nurse Registration (RNID).
• Knowledge of person centred planning and New Directions Standards for Day Services and Easitool.
• Previous experience working with people who have behaviours of concern.
• Ability to adopt a holistic, person centred approach to the role.
• Knowledge of supporting people to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
• Level 2 behavioural competencies of the Avista competency framework.
