Overall Purpose of Post

To improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of Pre Admission assessment. To establish day of surgery admissions & review, where appropriate medical admissions. Produce monthly reports on activity, bed days, percentage of day of surgery admissions etc. As a member of the Nurse Management team the post of CNM II has a pivotal role in co ordination and management of patients.
