CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER I - PANEL

Full Time - Permanent & Temporary

As Clinical Nurse Manager I, you will lead a dedicated team of healthcare and professional staff, maintaining the highest standards in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support nursing staff within the unit.
• Oversee resident care and ensure it is safe, effective, and person centred.
• Promote a social model of care, supporting residents' independence, dignity, and quality of life.
• Monitor quality standards and support continuous improvement in line with HIQA requirements.
• Ensure effective use of resources and efficient day to day operations.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support residents' holistic needs.
• Promote and safeguard residents' rights, including autonomy, privacy, and choice.
• Support staff development through guidance, supervision, and performance management.

Candidate Requirements

• Registered Nurse on the live register maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (any division relevant to the service).
• Minimum of 3 years post registration experience, including leadership experience in a clinical or residential setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HIQA standards and healthcare regulations in Ireland.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to support and manage staff effectively.
• A recognised management qualification (or working towards the same) is desirable.
