• Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent
• NMBI Registration OR QQI Level 8 is desirable but applicants with level 7 degree
• CORU recognised Social Care Qualification

Description

CLINICAL NURSE MANGER 2/ SOCIAL CARE LEADER

Community Residential Service, Limerick

Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

REF:

• NMBI Registration OR QQI Level 8 is desirable but applicants with level 7 degree who have relevant experience will be considered. The award must be considered eligible for CORU registration.

• Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent.
• Have at least 5 years post registration in either Nursing or Social Care of which 3 must be within Intellectual disability services.
• Have experience of supporting people with intellectual disabilities, complex health needs, autism and behaviours of concern
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work on own initiative. Proven managerial, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with families and the wider MDT.
• Have a detailed knowledge of the HIQA standards / regulations and Health Act 2007 and have the ability to maintain compliance with HIQA.

• Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
• Proficiency in the English language.

• Knowledge of person-centred planning and New Directions Standards.
• Have previous experience at CNM1 level/ equivalent within the area of Intellectual Disability.
