Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this post is to the post holder has a pivotal role in co-ordination and management of activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are staffing and staff development, facilitating communication and professional/clinical leadership. The role will proactively manage the Theatre daily activities, together with the CNM2 to provide quality and safety outcomes for patients and their families.

Essential Criteria:

RGN/RCN registered with NMBI
Minimum 3 years post registration with theatre nursing experience in an acute clinical environment within the last 7 years.
A primary degree in Nursing or Post Graduate Diploma / Qualification in Nursing RCN/RGN.
