We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected and growing Clinical Negligence team seeking an ambitious Solicitor with 1-5 years PQE to join their established practice based in Eton.

The Role

You'll manage your own caseload of claimant Clinical Negligence matters while supporting senior colleagues on larger and more complex claims.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing clinical negligence claims from inception through to conclusion
  • Investigating and progressing claims in accordance with procedural and funding requirements
  • Reviewing and analysing complex medical evidence
  • Applying legal principles to secure the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Assisting Partners and Senior Solicitors on high-value and complex matters
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
  • Monitoring file progression, billing, and performance targets
  • Delivering exceptional client care with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Supporting the continued growth and success of the Clinical Negligence department

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Qualified Solicitor status with a current unrestricted practising certificate
  • Between 1 and 5 years' PQE handling claimant Clinical Negligence matters
  • Experience managing your own caseload
  • Strong technical and litigation skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client care abilities
  • Strong organisational and time management skillsCommercial awareness and an understanding of case profitability
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach when working with vulnerable clients
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
  • Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office (Partner for Windows experience would be advantageous)
