Clinical Negligence Legal Executive Gloucester / Hybrid / Fully Remote

A respected law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Legal Executive to join their growing team. This role offers flexibility in working arrangements and the chance to handle a varied and rewarding caseload while contributing to the continued development of the department.

The role

You will provide high quality legal services to Clinical Negligence clients, managing matters from initial instruction through to settlement. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial consultations and triaging new enquiries
• Advising and supporting clients throughout their claims
• Managing a varied caseload independently
• Drafting Letters of Claim, analysing Letters of Response, preparing witness statements, instructions to counsel, and court documents
• Reviewing and preparing chronologies of medical records and expert evidence
• Instructing and liaising with medical experts and counsel
• Advising on funding options including CFAs, ATE policies, and client care documentation
• Negotiating with defendants and insurers to secure the best outcomes
• Managing all aspects of the pre action protocol and litigated matters under the CPR
