Clinical Lead Nurse

Our client, a highly respected private healthcare organisation with a successful portfolio of nursing and dementia homes across the UK, is seeking a strong and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse / Deputy to join their team. This role is on the Wirral, close to Ellesmere Port, and offers the chance to lead by example and drive the service forward.

This role offers a competitive salary of £57,408 working 48 hours per week, and will include leading on the floor, and 24+ supernumerary hours per week.

As a Clinical Lead Nurse / Deputy Home Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing the nursing and care teams
• Conducting clinical audits and ensuring excellent medicines management
• Lead by example, providing strong leadership and staff supervisions on the nursing floor
• Working full-time day shifts, 48 hours per week (4 days from 8am-8pm), mix of leading on the floor, and allocated supernumerary time of 24+ hours per week.
• Ensuring high standards of care for nursing, residential, and dementia residents

• Annual salary of £57,408

The ideal candidate for the Clinical Lead Nurse / Deputy Home Manager role will have:

• Experience working in nursing homes at Clinical Lead / Deputy / Home Manager level - desirable
• Experience working in a senior role in a care home or hospital - essential
• Excellent medicines management skills and experience with clinical audits
• Strong leadership abilities
• A passion for providing high-quality care to elderly residents
• Flexibility to work hours required to be an effective deputy, for the needs of the Home
