Lead and Shape Care in a Well-Established Service
We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join a well-established Nursing and Residential Care Home in Rugby. The service provides high-quality long-term and respite care, including specialist support for individuals living with dementia, within a comfortable and thoughtfully designed setting.
This welcoming home has a long-standing history of delivering compassionate care within the local community, with roots dating back over a century. Now operating as a purpose-built service, it offers modern facilities including private, en-suite accommodation and attractive outdoor spaces for residents and their families.
With approximately 30 beds, this smaller service offers a warm, person-centred environment, supported by a close-knit team and a strong, family-oriented ethos.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to take the next step in their career or for an experienced Clinical Lead seeking a rewarding role where they can influence standards, support a team, and make a meaningful difference.
The Role
As Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing the clinical operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the nursing and care team to deliver outstanding clinical care
- Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and clinical governance
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and best practice standards
- Supporting with audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
- Acting as a role model and mentor to nurses and care staff
- Monitoring residents' health and responding effectively to clinical changes
- Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
You will be instrumental in driving a culture of excellence, professionalism, and compassionate care throughout the home.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with a valid NMC pin
- Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a care home setting
- Strong clinical knowledge and leadership capability
- Experience in dementia care (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and organised approach to managing responsibilities
- A commitment to high-quality, person-centred care and continuous improvement
