Clinical Governance Team Leader

We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and collaborative Clinical Governance Team Lead to join our dedicated team. This is a key leadership role, supporting the Head of Clinical Governance to ensure we deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care to our patients and their loved ones.
Responsibilities- Play a central role in supporting the delivery of our governance agenda, ensuring a focus on quality improvement, patient safety, and learning.
- Lead and support your team, helping them grow through coaching, training, and regular reviews.
- Work alongside clinical leads to make sure our services meet the highest standards and comply with national guidelines.
- Oversee clinical audits, patient safety reviews, and risk management processes, ensuring that learning translates into meaningful improvements.
- Contribute to the development of our Quality Governance Framework and support the evidence we provide to regulators like the CQC.
- Champion an open, fair, and inclusive culture, where staff feel empowered to raise concerns and share ideas.
- An experienced healthcare professional with knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement, or patient safety.
- Confident in leading people, with the ability to inspire and support a small team.
- Skilled in analysing information and turning it into practical improvements.
- A strong communicator who can work with colleagues at every level.
- Passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion, and committed to creating a culture where everyone feels they belong.
