Clinical Educator

The closing date is 26 March 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic Allied Health Professional (AHP) or nurse to join our team, to teach Rheumatology and musculoskeletal knowledge and skills to medical students.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of clinical workshops and small group skills sessions for medical students.
  • Facilitation of medical student learning in a clinical setting.
  • Participation in the provision of training for allied health professionals and other health workers.

Appropriate training will be given.

Main duties of the job

Ideally, you will be at least 5 years post registration with significant experience in Rheumatology or an appropriate Musculoskeletal (MSK) specialty as an AHP or nurse. You will have the willingness and ability to develop (with support) your knowledge and skills to an appropriate level to teach medical students. You will be able to demonstrate effective communication and teaching skills and have the ability and willingness to develop practice through audit and research. We are happy to consider applicants wishing to work only some of the hours available.
