Shape the Future of Care - Clinical Director Opportunity at The Vetcare Centres, Guernsey

We're seeking a strategic, clinically excellent, and people-focused Clinical Director to lead our Guernsey veterinary team. This role combines clinical excellence with operational oversight and team leadership. You will be responsible for maintaining high clinical standards, mentoring vets and nurses, and supporting the execution of our wider operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the clinical team across Guernsey locations
• Ensure high standards of care, compliance, and client experience
• Oversee clinical mentorship and development for vets and RVNs
• Act as the clinical voice in operational and leadership decisions
• Support performance management and case quality reviews
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Ops and Practice Coordinator to implement structure

About You

• MRCVS with a minimum of 5 years in clinical practice
• Prior leadership or mentorship experience strongly preferred
• Calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and people-first in approach; passionate about development, standards, and collaborative care
