Clincal Lead

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a well-established elderly care provider at their care home in the Barnet area, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care within a residential setting.

With a strong operational structure and supportive senior management team in place, this role offers genuine long-term development and the opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing success and clinical oversight of the service.

• Current NMC registration.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Minimum of two years' experience within a similar care home environment.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations and clinical compliance standards.
• Good working knowledge of IT systems and electronic care planning platforms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and external healthcare professionals.
• Experience supporting team development and driving quality improvements within a care setting.

• Supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the service and overall clinical performance.
• Monitoring resident wellbeing, ensuring care plans are accurate and reflective of individual needs.
• Overseeing staff rotas to ensure safe staffing levels and continuity of care.
• Acting as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, and visiting professionals.
• Ensuring care delivery remains fully compliant with legislation, CQC standards, and best practice guidelines.
• Delivering supervision, appraisals, and ongoing support to clinical and care teams, contributing to continuous improvement and service development.
• Monitoring clinical supplies and ensuring appropriate stock control procedures are maintained.

• £55,000 per annum.
• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Permanent position.
