Who we are looking forThe State Street Alpha client implementation team is looking for a qualified leader with strong experience in project management, analysis, system flows and business architecture to execute client implementations of the industry's first ever front-to-back client servicing platform. The successful candidate must be highly organized and be able to move seamlessly between multiple implementations and changing client requirements. The Alpha Front Office Support Solutions & Implementation Workstream Lead will be responsible for managing and overseeing the due diligence / service definition, solution design, implementation/onboarding, testing and post-go-live efforts for several client implementations (likely simultaneously). It harmonizes data, technology and services across trusted providers to help our clients better manage their businesses.Join us if making your mark in an ever-changing, increasingly complex and competitive industry is a challenge you are up for.What you will be responsible forAs a Client Implementation Manager you willThis client facing role will be responsible for managing the client solution design (operational processes as well as system functionality), conversion approach, implementation plan, go-live, and post-go-live activities for converting clients onto State Street's Front to Back servicing platformWork with external clients and portfolio managers to configure the Alpha platform for client-specific workflowsManage the definition of services, service level agreements, in/out scope discussions, and change control items with the client and internal stakeholdersCollaborate with other teams to share approaches, develop best practices and improve team capabilities to successfully migrate clientsCoordinate with a Model Office environment and team for internal and external testing and POC purposesBecome a product and platform SME on State Street's Front-to-back platformOrganize and conduct implementation project status meetings, including communicating status to internal and external stakeholders, including senior managementDomestic and/or international travel may be requiredWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleExperience integrating with other industry software providers to promote platform interoperabilityPrior experience leading large scale client conversions and onboarding efforts in the financial industryStrong problem solving and project management skillsAbility to work on multiple projects concurrently and prioritize work accordinglyExcellent analytical and interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication and presentation skillsExpert in MS Office including MS Visio, MS Project and PowerPointAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline orientated, globally structured team-based environmentEducation & Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree or above.10+ years of financial industry experienceExperience with one or more of the following: Front Office Operations, Transaction Management, Recording Keeping, Corporate Actions, OTC Derivatives, Performance & Analytics, Reconciliation, Reporting, Cash Management and Collateral ManagementExperience in project management / project co-ordination particularly on complex projectsExperience in business analysisDemonstrable experience in a client facing roleEffective communication skillsAbility to prioritize multiple projects and deliver implementations in a timely mannerWorking collaborativelyExperience in managing and mitigating risks and escalating issues effectivelyCompetency in drafting and updating key documentation and artifactsAbout State StreetAcross the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
